Ahoy, 2013!

SAMSUNGHappy New Year! Yesterday was all about 2012, while today it’s time to step into 2013. My life is already roaring forward. Yes, that’s my fireplace blazing. It’s been cold in SoCal since Christmas, and even though we have fireplaces downstairs, upstairs, and a pellet stove in the family room, we’ve had to turn on the actual heat a couple of times this past week. Brr!

But I have something else to heat up the new year. Today, the digital prequel to my new back-to-back-to-back trilogy is available for download. FREE! It’s a complete story, novella-length, that will introduce you to Crescent Cove, California. Beach House Beginnings and the upcoming books Beach House No. 9, Bungalow Nights, and The Love Shack (all three will be available both in print and digitally) tell about a sunny, sexy, summer of love.

beachhousebeginningsIn Beach House Beginnings, the heroine returns to Crescent Cove after a tragedy kept her from it for ten years. There, she meets a familiar man and a familiar dog…can the two find their way into her closed and cautious heart?

The prequel and the Beach House trilogy were so much fun to write and I can’t wait for readers to be introduced to Crescent Cove and experience the summer awaiting there. To learn more about the books, visit www.christieridgway.com which has excerpts and buy links. Fun fact: the place is based on real-life Crystal Cove, California, which is a state park. The backdrops for all the covers in the series were photographed at the actual location!

I’m excited about my new books–the full-length novels will be out in February, March, and April. What about you? Is there a special vacation on your horizon? (If not, read the books, you’ll feel like you’ve been to the beach!) What are you looking forward to in 2013?

  1. I’m looking forward to reading, writing, blogging, spending time with my gkids, dogpaddling in the pool, demolition derbies, poetry slams and a small trip or 2.
